Spring is all about the budding of Southern Appalachian wildflowers and trees Hot spring’s Trail fest and spring songbird migration. You can plan hiking at the awesome trails around the town. May nights are cool and days are pleasantly filled with the dreamy ethereal perfume of the large southern magnolia tree at the Inn.
Summer is fun-filled with activities such as rafting, hiking, swimming, dining, and live music. In June get ready for Bluff Mountain Music Festival and in July join the fourth of July fireworks.
Fall festivities are at the top from September to November with its local fall events including a September Brew Fest at the Hot Springs Campground. You will come across the smell of burning wood stoves and bears, squirrels, and deer feeding on acorns.
An all-inclusive winter wedding package at the Mountain Magnolia Inn is offered for a beautiful and intimate winter wedding. The winter wedding package is for an intimate group of 20 guests from, December till March with onsite lodging required to be filled with 14 guests at the main inn and 10 guests at the neighboring garden house. Coordinating services, lodging, and catering all are included.
Not feeling the big wedding vibes? Magnolia Mountain Inn offers elopements during the week! Monday through Thursday elopements are available all year round. The Mountain Magnolia Inn offers all-inclusive elopement packages that will make your gateway elegant and memorable. Perfect if you’re wanting a beautiful elopement but without the hike.
This fully restored Victorian home has 2 bedroom suites with one bath, 5 individual guest rooms. All with private baths, woohoo! And, the Inn even has a guest house with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. Many of them have whirlpool tubs, patios, private balcony, or gas fireplaces.
The buckeye room (Upstairs), The Rose Room (Upstairs), The Sycamore Room (Upstairs), The Magnolia Room (Downstairs), Miss Peggy’s Suite (Downstairs), The Garden House, Blue Heron Cottage, Creek House, and Stone Cottage comprise of the indoors at Mountain Magnolia Inn. So basically, a ton of fun, beautiful historic options to house your loved ones for an epic weekend wedding.
You can have fun with several activities and trips outside. You can take a hike from the Appalachian Trail, white water rafting can be done in the French Board River. Which, did you know, is one of the oldest rivers in the world! Horseback riding and Treetop Zip-Line are more options. You can even have fun with food by catching a trout and cooking it or visiting an organic farm nearby. Okay… you caught me. I love WNC!
